Access Control

Access control systems allow you to control who is going in and around your property. You can set specific rules and schedules for each person and allow them in certain doors at scheduled times. You can also see every time someone has entered and have a record of who has been in each specific door. The systems are hard wired 24/7 and don’t rely on internet or a running computer to work.

Benefits of Access Control

  • Able to be programmed or changed anytime from a computer
  • Custom schedules for individuals or groups of people
  • Seeing what time employees arrive
  • Ability to download activity reports or usage
  • Fobs can work on multiple doors even on separate properties
  • Ability to deactivate fobs if they are lost or not returned – no need to change locks when someone leaves
  • More secure and harder to duplicate than standard keys
  • Cheaper and easier to give out than regular keys – No trips to the hardware store needed

Access control is great for:

  • Commercial Businesses
  • Churches
  • Motels and Inns
  • Offices

Almost every type of door can have access control, from a simple interior doorknob to exterior crash bars. There is a variety of hardware available such as electric strikes and motorized crash bars.

Access control readers can be programed to work with RFID cards/fobs, or a PIN code. For higher security, they can be set to require both.
